The church looked beautiful and it really came together nicely.

All The Single Ladies

Oh yeah, I have a blog?!? I have SO much catching up to do that it's starting to overwhelm me. Where to start? Recapping in chronological order would make the most sense, but nothing I do seems to make sense so Imma begin with Em's wedding week!! One of my closest friends got married on August 10th and the week leading up to that beautiful Friday was hectic and crazy but also a blast being reunited with six members of the "Sexy Seven" (more on that later)

Wednesday night I hosted a bachelorette party for Em in Stephen's basement (with the much appreciated help of Lauren and Danielle). It was so much fun to be crazy and hang out like we always used to back in the good ole days :)

We took pictures as we waited for the Shep sisters to arrive
When I was a sophomore (I think?) in high school, we all stayed up late one night and predicted characteristics of our future husbands. Like it's ridiculous how detailed we got. For example, Savannah's husband will have "literally grown up in the ghetto, but converted to the church in college. He's not book smart, but street smart", Kelsie's husband "is really particular about his socks," Lauren's will enjoy wake boarding in his spare time, etc. etc. It was SO funny to see what we thought Em's husband would be like. We decided he'd be the type to pack all of his kids' lunches in the morning, hiking is a passion of his and several others. We read the list out loud and as you can see, we didn't do TOO terrible.
Things got wild when the jello shots came out ;)
Of course, we played "Kiss the Hunk" or whatever you want to call it.
 LOVE these girls!
  Coming up: Em's wedding day!
